[ He's glad to see Kubo's alright. He's a good kid. Archangel is new to him, but the alien earned some definite points today. ]

How long ago?

Couple hours. It wasn't worth interrupting your hike.

[Cortana prioritizes the Chief's downtime much more highly than he himself does.]

He tried some of that dominance crap on me, too.

[And it worked exactly as well as someone trying to cow Cortana ever does. She clicks her tongue (or the sound-generation algorithms mimicking a tongue, at least) in disapproval.]

[ Oh. He did, did he? The Chief has no doubt she handled it herself, but he wishes he'd been there. ]

Don't suppose Kid Q throwing the book at him is going to stick the first time.

[ A slow learner indeed. He admires the Legion's patience and willingness to work with nonideal people, in a way. It's been paying off for them, but then you get this walking around. ]

Has Beeny found him yet?
